It was such an amazing experience at the Metric IP 26 in Lübeck! The academy is such a welcoming and warm place, even though it is a real labyrinth where it is incredibly easy to get lost. The level of the students was very high, and it was truly inspiring to listen to them and, of course, to work with them.

I led a conversation based on improvisation ethics and politics which seemed quite successful, with the students discussing various topics that are, in my opinion, quite important in free improvisation. Finally, it was a pleasure to participate in the electroacoustic impro workshop as a player, and to get to know and play with wonderful musicians, students, and teachers. The Metric IP is always intense, literally spanning six days almost non-stop, but it remains a rewarding and important experience. Until next year!
