Flows & Glows is a quintet for contemporary improvised music at the intersection of composition and real-time creation. The ensemble develops complex musical forms through collective interaction, focusing on timbre, space, and dynamic transformation: noise-based textures, microtonal melodies, extreme polyrhythms, unpredictable changes in sounds, languages, and moods. Humour blends with seriousness; sometimes the echo of an old ballad appears. Their approach is non-hierarchical, with structure emerging from within the group process itself. The resulting performances are unique sonic architectures shaped in the moment.
